In 1902, original owner Tobe Smith used this structure to house his horse drawn carriage. At present day, it has been transformed into a darling “cottage for two” to house wonderful memories!

Complete privacy is promised in this cozy cottage that stands alone on the property’s edge. From its own wrap-around deck-- complete with outdoor furniture-- that overlooks the lush forest and Ozarks beyond, guests have seen our “resident Bambi” and white squirrels (yes—“white” squirrels—unique to Eureka Springs)!

Inspired by the palette of Ralph Lauren cottage colors of soft green, gold, lavender and rose in bed linens and towels, this carriage house reflects a relaxed lifestyle and the personality of a romantic country weekend. Tobe Smith Cottage has its own private bath with Jacuzzi and shower, compete with plush robes. This cozy room is filled with delightful cottage antiques and accessories, queen size bed with pillow top mattress, Cable TV/VCR and a large collection of “in room” movies for your enjoyment.

Because we love to pamper you at Hidden Springs, in addition, a large gourmet breakfast is provided each morning and delivered to your own private cottage or deck. This cozy carriage house and the grounds at Hidden Springs are a combination of the best of town and country in one unique setting.
